The method of rectangular harmonic analysis is applied to the geomagnetic field data from central India to isolate long wavelength magnetic anomalies associated with largescale crustal structures. The long-wavelength anomalies have accounted for approximately 20 % of the spatial variability of the residual magnetic field over the International Geomagnetic Reference Field. On the magnetic anomaly map, reflecting the surface expression of longwavelength anomalies, the Tapi-Narmada-Son zone is characterized by a feeble positive anomaly bounded by a strong negative anomaly. The anomaly pattern is believed to be caused by the large-scale undulation in Moho and related variations in the thickness of the lower (basaltic) crust. The other two prominent anomalies, the magnetic low striking northwest and the magnetic high trending east-northeast, appear to be related to the deep structural feature of the Godavari graben and the eastern Rajasthan lineament respectively.  相似文献

本文根据地球化学作用与时-空结构辩证统一的观点提出地球化学的理论体系与方法论,认为地球化学体系应由地球化学系统的物质、地球化学作用、地球化学过程和地球化学场等四大部分所构成,其中以地球化学系统的物质为基础,而地球化学作用居于核心地位。地球化学作用与时-空结构的统一性应该作为一切地学研究的指导思想。作者指出,必须用系统思想和系统科学研究地球化学系统,应用不可逆过程热力学中的“耗散结构”(dissipativestructures)理论研究地球化学作用与时-空结构的内在联系。  相似文献

During the last years, the International Symposia on Precision Approach and Automatic Landing (ISPA) have shown a considerable change in the significance of integrated landing systems. At the first ISPA conference in 1995, the combination of inertial sensors and GNSS receivers was thoroughly discussed and appeared to be a very promising concept, especially with respect to ‘Integrity’ and ‘Continuity’. Ever since, this particular combination of sensors has received little attention. A comprehensive discussion of the technical background of this setback for integrated landing systems did not take place, primarily because of the popular opinion that the Kalman filter algorithm, which is the system integration kernel, is not sufficiently stable. The true reason has meanwhile been identified. The aiding of an inertial navigation system by only one GNSS antenna is insufficient in phases of low aircraft dynamics such as in the case of final approach. Instead, a multi-antenna system is required with antennas widely distributed over the aircraft structure. This latter approach, however, causes problems due to structural flexibilities. To show that an integrated system based on inertial sensors and widely distributed GNSS antennas is technically feasible, the paper discusses the following topics. (1) Unstable system performance during final approach for 1-antenna-aiding. (2) Improving the system performance prior to using additional antennas. (3) Effect of the antenna distribution. (4) Integrated systems for distributed sensors and flexible aircraft structures. The paper shows that integrated systems are still an attractive candidate for automatic landing equipment preserving the advantages with respect to ‘Integrity’ and ‘Continuity’.  相似文献

模拟地震激励输入结构的过程,将控制目标函数化解到每个时间步长上。用激励所产生的脉冲响应重新构造控制目标函数,直接从泛函变分出发,推导出了一种改进的最优控制算法,并用状态转移的数值方法加以实现。从概念上讲,本算法是一种更为合理的结构最优控制算法。算例表明,在相同控制能量下,本算法能更有效地削减响应峰值,且稳定性良好。  相似文献

An attempt has been made to explore the general trends in the seismic response of plan‐asymmetric structures without any restrictions imposed by a particular code. Systems with structural elements in both orthogonal directions under bi‐directional excitation were studied. Idealized single‐storey models with bi‐axial eccentricity were employed. The systems were torsionally stiff and, in the majority of cases, mass‐eccentric. The main findings are: in general, inelastic torsional response is qualitatively similar to elastic torsional response. Quantitatively, the torsional effect on the flexible side, expressed as an increase of displacements due to torsion, decreases slightly with increasing plastic deformation, unless the plastic deformations are small. The response on the stiff side generally strongly depends on the effect of several modes of vibration and on the influence of the ground motion in the transverse direction. These influences depend on the structural and ground motion characteristics in both directions. Reduction of displacements due to torsion, typical for elastic torsionally stiff structures, usually decreases with increasing plastic deformations. As an additional effect of large plastic deformations, a flattening of the displacement envelopes in the horizontal plane usually occurs, indicating that torsional effects in the inelastic range are generally smaller than in the elastic range. The dispersion of the results of inelastic torsional response analysis is generally larger than that of elastic analysis. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The damping reduction factors are used in a few building codes in order to estimate the elastic response spectrum with high damping ratios from its 5%‐damped counterpart. At present, much research regarding this factor has been published. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the accuracy of five different models of damping reduction factors. In addition, the damping reduction factors adopted in the recent U.S.A. seismic codes are also evaluated. Statistical studies are carried out according to a total of 216 earthquake ground motions recorded on firm sites in California. Considered here are elastic single‐degree‐of‐freedom (SDOF) systems with natural vibrating periods between 0.1 and 6.0 s. Mean ratios and dispersion of approximate to exact maximum elastic displacement demands corresponding to various damping reduction factors are computed as functions of the natural vibrating period and the viscous damping ratio. The seismic response of elasto‐plastic structures to both recorded and generated accelerograms is characterized by a large scattering of the results, even for accelerograms with similar peak ground acceleration values and frequency content. According to current code recommendations a design value of the seismic response of an elasto‐plastic structure can be computed as the mean of the responses to a certain number of spectrum‐fitting generated accelerograms. A more effective probabilistic approach is presented herein. It allows the analyst to calculate a design value of the seismic response characterized by a predefined non‐exceedance probability using a limited number of generated accelerograms. The results of the performed analyses are presented in diagrams that can be used for structural design applications. The applicability of the proposed method is demonstrated in the case of an elasto‐plastic structural system and the results are compared with those obtained applying current code recommendations. Measurements of the response of the ¼‐scale reinforced concrete Hualien (Taiwan) containment model obtained during forced vibration tests are used to identify some of the characteristics of the superstructure and the soil. In particular, attempts are made to determine the fixed‐base modal frequencies, modal damping ratios, modal masses and participation factors associated with translation and rocking of the base. The shell superstructure appears to be softer than could have been predicted on the basis of the given geometry and of test data for the properties of concrete. Estimates of the shear‐wave velocity and damping ratio in the top layer of soil are obtained by matching the observed and theoretical system frequency and peak amplitude of the response at the top of the structure. The resulting models for the superstructure and the soil lead to theoretical results for the displacement and rotations at the base and top of the structure which closely match the observed response.
